Asus appears more powerful and elegant in CeBIT 2010 exhibition in Hanover, Germany. During that event, this well-known manufacturer of laptop presents two models of the Republic of Gamers motherboard that was designed for game lovers (gamer) around the world. Not only offers toughness gaming performance in all but Asus also reportedly plans to soon introduce e-reader device. Although busy in preparing the launch of the e-reader, it turns out that Taiwan-based company did not hesitate to introduce Bamboo laptops (notebooks) series.
You know it before? The two laptop models Bamboo series introduced this time is U33JC and U43JC. Both carry a similar design in which the casing is made of bamboo material. The use of bamboo material in those laptops were able to reduce plastic use by 20 percent. Features possessed the same, just different screen size, type of battery used and the overall weight.
Talking about a more complete specifications, U33JC laptop model have 13.3-inch screen size LED-back-light with the max res. of 1366×768 pixels whereas the U43JC model 14-inch screen size. Both use the Intel HM55 chipset with Intel Core processors i3, i5 or i7. Also is equipped with 4GB DDR3 memory and hard disk capacity up to 500GB.
It weighed 1.7kg for U33JC model and using 8-cell battery. While the weight of U43JC notebook model was 2.6kg and use 6-cell battery. Of course, Asus does not want to waste the presence of these two laptops Bamboo series which environmentally friendly, so the Asus also equip these notebooks with the technology offered by Nvidia Optimus. Through this function, the system will automatically choose between the Intel GMA HD graphics card and Nvidia GeForce 310M with 1GB VRAM.
