I think you have known about eBuddy, famous mobile app allows everyone to stay connected with each others. Not long, afterward nearly 5 months from the date of launch the free application, which is accompanied / funded by advertising and also has been available for iPhone and iPod Touch, recently eBuddy has released paid application which can make it easier for users to communicate with others using IM client application. Though, it’s not a good news for 2010.
The price for eBuddy Pro is quiet cheap, about $4.99. This application allows you to communicate using Facebook Chat, ICQ, Gtalk, AIM, MySpace, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger be more easier. Okay, let’s see more features ans specs of this eBuddy Pro. It seemed unlike its free application, eBuddy Pro is available with no ads at all and have more features such as:
- Display notification when there is a new incoming message when the application is closed (this notification can last for 3 days)
- Can send pictures without having to leave the existing application
- Options to change the image on the avatar with the images on the phone or directly from the camera
eBuddy Pro application also allows you to move when you are chatting with sliding the screen on the iPhone and or iPod Touch devices and send ‘buzz’ simply by shaking its display. Again, the eBuddy corporation that located in the Netherlands promised to bring more features later on, including landscape mode.
For the stats, Ebuddy mentioned that there have been 2.5 million users who have downloaded this free iPhone application, but it also has 180,000 users register to download this application using Android. eBuddy reportedly now working together with the Indian company InMobi which has increased advertising revenue for this application.
